Processing Robustly Natural Language

(a nearly correct citation of Martin Kay in an open discussion at Coling 2002). Natural Language is a very strange beast we use to convey meaning. In opposition to the omnicomperehensive theories trying to give a complete model we here want to investigate modular approaches to language understanding that we believe being more closely related to what happens in the human mind....
